Metronidazole Powder

USE: Hole in the head disease (hexamita), chilodonella, salt water ich, bloat.

POWDER DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoonful per 20 gallons. 50 grams (treats approx. 800 gal.)  Treat every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment.  Treat for 10 days.


Neomycin Sulfate Powder

USE: Gram-negative bacteria (Pseudomonas) and tuberculosis. Works well in freshwater or saltwater aquariums.

DOSAGE 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water. Treat every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment. Treat for 10 days. For tuberculosis, use for up to 30 days.


Nitrofuracin Green

A combination of nitro furazone, furazolidone, methylene blue and salt.

USE: Anti- microbial, anti- protozoan, anti-bacterial. Wide spectrum.  Good for newly arrived fish in quarantine situations.  Also good for healing wounds and ammonia burn.  Also good for a shipping solution.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons every 24 hours with a 50% water change before each treatment. Treat for 10 days.


Nitrofurazone Powder 100%

USE: A good disinfectant for clearing water prior to newly arrived fish. Effective against marine ulcer disease and protozoans. Also useful in treating furunculosis found in Koi.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons.  250 grams (treats approx. 4000 gallons)   Treat every 24 hours with a 50% water change before each treatment.  Treat for 10 days.


Oxolinic Acid Powder 100%

USE: Anti-bacterial, gram negative bacteria. Used when fish die for no apparent reason, when other medications are not helpful.  Works well for Koi affected by Aeromonas (hole in the side) when mixed in feed.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoonful per 30 gallons, every 3 days with a complete water change before each treatment.  Or, 2 teaspoons per pound of Koi food.   Feed for 14 - 21 days.

WARNING:
A complete water change must be done after 3 days of treatment if used in water.


Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride

USE: Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.  Marine ulcer disease, cold water disease, bacterial hemmorrhagic septicemia and mouth fungus.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons every 24 hours with a 50% water change before each treatment.  Treat for 10 days.  250 grams (treats 4000 gal.)   Or, if mixed into feed, 2 teaspoons per pound of Koi pellets.   Feed for 14 - 21 days.

If your pH is 8.0 or above, it is suggested to use this medication in the feed.


Paracide -D

USE: All helminthes, acanthocephala, digenetic trematodes, cestoda molluscucide (snails) and worms (internal and external). Toxic to fry.

To mix in food, weigh out 4.5 grams of powder and dilute with 100 ml of water. Use 1 ml of this solution per pound of food. Feed for 3-5 days. This equals 1 PPM. Upon introduction to water Di-N-Butyl Tin oxide releases tin oxide. Do not be alarmed if this product does not appear to dissolve.

DOSAGE: 1 gram into 4 oz. of water. Shake well. Use 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons.  Treat one time only and leave in tank for 4 - 5 days.


Paracide-X

USE:  When mixed in food this product will eradicate all types of worms, including tape worms and some other types of parasites, such as nematodes and intestinal flagellates.   Also acts as a laxative.

DOSAGE:  Use 1/4 teaspoon to 2 ounces of water,   Place in a spray bottle,  Weigh out 100 grams of fish food (frozen or pellets) and place on a sheet of aluminum foil.. Spray the food with the entire contents of the spray bottle.  Let air dry.  Use a fan in necessary to expedite the drying process.  Do not use any heat element to dry the food as it will destroy the medication .  If using frozen food, thaw it out and pour the medication into the food and mix well.  Return to the freezer.  After frozen, feed to the fish for 4 - 5 days.


Parinox

USE: For Ich, hexamita, costia, ichthyophthirius, ectoparasites, monogenia, hirudinea, parasitic copepods, argulus, lernaea, anchor worms, fish lice, leeches.  Also a protozoacide.  Anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic,  very wide spectrum.  Our version of a "cure-all".

DOSAGE:  Use 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons.   Treat once a week for 2 weeks.  If water changes are done, add back the percentage of medication according to how much water was changed.


pH PEN (battery powered)

Stop trying to guess at pH readings with tape, color charts and messy test kits.  This is a quality device that is easy to use.  Made by Hanna Instruments.


Pond Shade

For best results, pond should be clean and dechlorinated.

USE: FRESH WATER - add 1 teaspoonful (5ml) per 100 gallons of pond water. The product will last 1-6 months according to depth of pond. Pond will turn a beautiful lake blue. Not harmful to fish, humans, animals or surface plants. WARNING: Harmful to underwater plants.

Povidine (similar to Betadine)

USE: Disinfecting of wounds. Good net dip.

DOSAGE: 1 ounce to 1 gallon of water.


Praziquantel

USE: For all internal and external parasites.  Can be used in fresh or saltwater.  Safe for use on sharks.  This product is much safer than other anti-parasitic medications.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 40 gallons of aquarium water.  Dose 1 time and leave in the water for 5-7 days.  This product must be mixed with ethyl alcohol (vodka) to become soluble in water before use.


Quinine Sulfate

USE: Resistant strains of Ich (especially on scaleless fish). Protozoans, sliminess of the skin and Rams disease (whirling disease).  Also good for resistant strains of Hexamita when combined with Metronidazole.

DOSAGE : 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water. Once a day for 4-5 days. Do a 25% water change before each treatment.


Sodium Thiosulfate Crystals

USE: Dechlorinates water

DOSAGE: Mix 4 ounces of crystals per 1 gallon of water. Then use 1 drop per gallon.


Sulfa 4 TMP Powder

USE: This is a special blend of four different sulfas that have different absorption rate and solubility. These sulfas are combined with trimethoprim, which potentates each others ability to kill bacteria. Thus becoming a wide spectrum antibiotic and a lesser chance of resistant strains being developed.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons of water. 1/2 pound (treats 3640 gal.)


Sulfathiazole Sodium powder 100%

USE: Treatment of bacterial infections. Protozoa.  Best solubility of all sulfa drugs.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment.


Tetracycline Hydrochloride

USE: Treatment of bacterial infections, both gram-positive and gram-negative.

DOSAGE: 1 capsule per 20 gallons of water.  Every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoonful per 20 gallons every 24 hours with a 25% water change before each treatment.  250 grams (treats approx. 4000 gal.)   This product will not work in water with a pH above 7.5


Tranquil (for small fish)

USE: Fish anesthetic, tranquilizer. Will anesthetize a fish for 1 to 3 minutes, with an uneventful recovery in 3 to 15 minutes. Tranquil is the safest most effective fish anesthetic available. Safe for use with sharks. Do not use when zinc or copper is present.

DOSAGE: 1/2 teaspoon per 1 gallon.  Treat one time only.


Tranquil II (for larger fish and Koi)

USE: Fish anesthetic, tranquilizer. Will anesthetize a fish for 1 to 3 minutes, with an uneventful recovery in 3 to 15 minutes. Tranquil is the safest most effective fish anesthetic available. Safe for use with sharks. Do not use when zinc or copper is present.

Triple Sulfa Powder

USE: Treatment of  gram-negative bacterial infections, fin and tail rot, mouth fungus and collapsed fins, columnaris.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons every 24 hours  with a 25% water change before each treatment.  Treat for a minimum of 10 days.


Trimethoprim and Sulfathiazole Sodium
(TMP-Sulfa)

USE: Treatment of bacterial infections, both gram-positive and gram-negative. The combination retards resistant strains from developing. It exerts its anti-microbial effect by blocking 2 consecutive steps in the biosynthesis of nucleic acids and proteins essential to many bacteria.

DOSAGE: 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons every 24 hours  with a 25% water change before each treatment.  1/4 pound (treats approx. 980 gal.)
